According to a new study published in the journal ‘Nutrients’, “Avocados are unique among fruits and vegtables in that, by weight, they contain much higher amounts of the key nutrients folate and potassium, which are normally under consumed in regular pregnancy diets. They also contain compounds such as fiber, mono-unsaturated fats, and lipid soluble anti-oxidants, which have been linked to improvements in maternal health, birth outcomes and breast milk quality.”
Hence, avocados can be a wonderful addition to your pregnancy diet.
